Our Natural Stone Project Gallery

Project Gallery

We aren’t just a supplier for decorative stones and landscaping stones; our natural stone has been used to make entire buildings! Loukonen Bros Stone Company is one of the oldest continuously operating sandstone quarries in the United States, across 128 years and five generations of Loukonens. The quarries have supplied the Lyons Red and the Colorado buff sandstone across the nation and Canada. To this day, all of our natural stone is removed by hand using hammers, wedges, and bars; by extracting it this way we end up with a much higher quality of natural stone product. We take pride in the professional expertise of our people, for without them we could not produce the quality or quantity of building, decorative, and landscaping stones that we do. Or motto is “We say what we will do and we do what we say!”

We also pride ourselves on the timely delivery of our products. We work hand-in-hand with our customers, and advise them of lead times to quarry and produce stone for their needs on projects. Listed below are some of the projects for which we produced stone, and making them local architectural icons that will endure for centuries.
